Guard Instructor Search

Wake Forest University and the Wake Forest University Marching Band, the Spirit of the Old Gold and Black (SOTOGAB) is searching for a guard instructor for the 2017 marching season. Wake Forest University is located in Winston Salem, NC. Job Description

  • Attend and supervise guard during marching band rehearsals (4 – 6 p.m. Tuesday/Thursday)
  • Organize and facilitate weekly sectional outside regular band rehearsals
  • Supervise game day rehearsals and performances
  • Organize and facilitate all band camp rehearsals
  • Write and teach all routines for stands, field, and pep band performances
  • Attend weekly Professional Staff meetings
