Wake Forest University Bands is excited to announce our first Chamber Winds Conducting Symposium.

Held on February 2nd and 3rd, the 2024 Symposium features clinicians Robert Ambrose, Margi Underwood, Timothy Heath, and Natalie Smith. Joining the Symposium as the performing ensemble is NexTonal, a professional chamber winds ensemble from the Triad Area (Winston-Salem, Greensboro, High Point) of North Carolina.

Participant and Observer tracks are available for the Symposium with the following registration fee:

$300 for Participants
$50 per day for Observers
$25 per day for Undergraduate Observers

Observers may attend one or both days of the Symposium. CEU certificates are available for participants and observers upon request.

The Symposium will focus on chamber wind music and offer professional quality videos, several classes from clinicians, and video analysis. Offering an engaging schedule, participants and observers will have the same educational opportunities except for conducting during the clinic sessions, reserved only for participants. Observers have the opportunity to participate in a conducting workshop each day.
