Conducting Symposium
Held on January 31 and February 1, the 2025 Symposium features clinicians Dr. Tricia Cornett, Dr. Timothy Heath, and Dr. Natalie Smith.
Joining the Symposium again this year is NexTonal, a professional chamber winds ensemble from the Triad Area (Winston-Salem, Greensboro, High Point) of North Carolina.
Participant and Observer tracks are available for the Symposium with the following registration fee:
$300 for Both Day Participants
$150 for One Day Participants
$50 per day for Observers
$25 per day for Undergraduate Observers
Observers may attend one or both days of the Symposium. CEU certificates are available for participants and observers upon request.
The Symposium will focus on chamber wind music and offer professional quality videos, several classes from clinicians, and video analysis. Offering an engaging schedule, participants and observers will have the same educational opportunities except for conducting during the clinic sessions, reserved only for participants. Observers have the opportunity to participate in a conducting workshop each day.
