Ambar Kilar

Ambar Kilar joined the staff in 2018 as Director of Colorguard for Wake Forest University. Prior to becoming Director of Colorguard, Ambar was a member of SOTOGAB for 3 years and Reynolda Independent Winterguard for 6 years. Ambar also was a tech for the Mount Tabor High School Marching Band and Winterguard for two years. In 2013 Ambar received The John Philip Sousa award on French Horn. Ambar holds a degree in Pastry Arts from The French Pastry School of Chicago and is classically trained in French Cuisine; working in various hotels, bakeries, and Michelin-starred restaurants over the years. Ambar has a passion for music and colorguard and is excited once again be part of Demon Deacons!
